A little about A Nerds World.

Located in the Annex, at 986 Bathurst Street just north of Bloor. Our shop, described as quaint and kitschy by some, piqued many a curiosity of passers-by. With a storefront display reminiscent of film and photography past, those who entered A Nerd’s World were surprised to discover a team of creative professionals offering services that ranged from Web Design and Content Development, to Photography, Video Production and Graphic Design.

Fast forward to 2015. After three short years, we’ve opened a second location at 688 Richmond Street, in the Heart of Toronto’s Garment District. On any given afternoon, you can enter our new 2000 sq ft, open concept, light filled office and get lost in the buzz of activity. What was once a warehouse is now a fully restored and retrofitted, breeding ground for creative solutions. It is also the new Nerd headquarters. Amidst our growth and expansion, we still complete our projects in-house, as we believe in offering our clients transparency, as well as recognizing local talent. In case you’re wondering, our flagship location remains fully open and welcomes walk-in traffic throughout the week.

Before you judge a book by its cover — Our Nerds aren’t just a bunch of smiling faces behind thick-rimmed glasses. We’re a team comprised of multidisciplinary creative professionals that bring a plethora of talents to the table, not to mention awesome table etiquette. We also believe in the expression of gratitude and helping the underserved, and less fortunate. In addition to other philanthropic efforts, the founder of A Nerd’s World, Chris A. Hughes, started his own charity in 2014. The Project of Love was born after a weeklong trip to Cuba. Foregoing the accommodations at an all-inclusive luxury resort where cocktails flowed freely, Chris ventured to smaller villages where running water was considered a luxury. This life changing experience opened his eyes, as he witnessed people with few material things find happiness in each other. Since its inception, Chris has personally donated over $50,000 to The Project of Love.

Come one, come all, and bring a guest. This is going to be epic!
